Mechanical / Aeronautical / Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Flarebright is offering an opportunity for a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering Intern to work with us over the Summer of 2026 to support ongoing product development and testing activities. It will provide unique opportunity to learn from a cutting edge organisation shaping the future of aviation. It is expected that, working closely with everyone from apprentices to our CEO and CTO, you will draw on a variety of mechanical and aeronautical engineering skills, including aerodynamic design, vibration compensation, manufacturing using 3D printers, and flight performance analysis.
Flight Operations and Compliance Manager
Part time (2-3 days/week)

Reporting to Flarebright’s Head of Engineering, the Aerospace Compliance Manager will be responsible for maintaining, developing, implementing and evaluating strategies that enable Flarebright to comply with relevant aerospace standards and legislation, ensuring successful product delivery and the maintenance of existing operational capabilities.
Production Manager
Part time (2-3 days/week)

Reporting to Flare Bright’s Head of Engineering, the Production Manager will be responsible for developing and running Flarebright’s new manufacturing capability to deliver complex flight safety and navigation products on time, to budget and in-line with Flarebright’s existing ISO-9001:2015 quality standards.
Senior Production Manager
